Secure server-side discovery with staged apply
Scan the approved camera LAN. Discovery runs on the server only.
Import from Scrypted is not available yet. Scrypted's device list requires an
authenticated login to its own management API (username/password or API token) \u2014
no anonymous or documented public endpoint exists for listing camera devices.
Reading credentials out of Scrypted's configuration files was intentionally avoided.
Use Search Network or Add by IP instead. This will be revisited if a
safe, explicit-consent import mechanism becomes available.
No device selected
Credentials are sent once over the trusted connection and kept server-side only for short-lived testing. They are never returned in API responses.
Primary Preview
Reconnect policy remains fixed at four attempts before terminal offline alert.
No service restart is attempted unless the staged configuration and final confirmation token are valid.
Wizard Complete
Review the apply result. If commit was blocked, no production camera was changed.
